How can anyone ignore these pictures? As a mother, my heart just aches for these babies who were denied life. Brutally murdered because their parents didn't want them. What makes my heart ache even more is our society, leaders and citizens who think that abortion is a 'right.' May God help our country and our leaders so we can stand up for life and make abortion illegal once again!

Yeah, but, help me out here: Is your statement wrong or right?
Wow... I've never seen a sentence as long as that one in the February 17th comment!

Interesting. Well, at least I can say I see life for what it truly is. Something to be respected and cherished.

people like to say these unborn babies arn't alive, but they couldnt be more wrong. There are 6 things all living things have in common, including these unborn babies being murdered over 4,000 times a day in our country. 1)all living things are made of cells. 2)all living things are made of the same chemicals: water, carbon, and hydrogen. 3) all living things grow and develop. 4) all living things sense and respond to their surroundings. 5) all living things are capable of reproducing. 6) all living things require energy. These babies are alive and killing them is murder. People need to see these signs, keep showing them.

A fetus is not capable of reproduction, nor is it capable of survival without a host. I'm not offering an opinion here - just pointing some discrepancies out in your definition.
And yes, we can all agree that then Feb. 17th comment is disappointing.

I can understand your cause, and your tactics, and I respect them. But I also ask you a question; What do you eat? Plants and animals also have these six things in common, but tens of billions of them are murdered every day. You fight for the rights of unborn children, but you don't fight for the rights of thinking, breathing full grown cows and pigs. As silly as it might sound, it's still true. Do you ask the cow or chicken if you can cut off it's head before you eat McDonalds? Do you ask a tree if you can violently cut it into peices before you use a sheet of paper or buy a dresser made of wood? These unborn children can not give an answer just as animals and plants can give an answer. But our own basic human nature says that we must survive! Adoption is an option of course! But there are so many sick and twisted people out there... How would we, as mothers, know that we are not sending the children we can't provide care for into a hell worse than death? Personally, I'd rather die than be beaten and put down all my life.

Reliance on another organism ("host") doesn't mean that something isn't alive. Symbiotic relationships (harmful parasitism, neutral commensalism, or beneficial mutualism) involve two organisms, both of which are alive. Gestation itself doesn't fall under any of these categories because the two organisms are of the same species. However, both are still alive.
Reproduction only lasts for a certain portion of a human's life, and it applies more to the species as a whole than any individual. If it applied to the individual, then that would mean that children who haven't reached reproductive age aren't alive (as well as infertile adults).
Your statement regarding plants and animals is an ad hominem ("against the man") argument, a classic logical fallacy. It is fallacious because it attempts to discredit a person's ideas based on their circumstances or character traits rather than flaws related to the ideas themselves. Even if we were a bunch of terrible people and inconsistent hypocrites, that would not mean that we are wrong about this issue. Finally, your characterization is inaccurate. There are vegetarians and environmentalists in the pro-life movement.
Mothers who want to ensure that their children end up in a suitable home can choose open adoption, a process in which the birth parents meet and choose the adoptive family. The demand side of adoption is also very stringent. Potential adoptive parents are carefully screened and the waiting lists are normally very long (up to a decade or more). Even in closed adoption, the child almost definitely ends up in a loving home.
You may wish to end your own life if you were a victim of child abuse, but making that choice for others is called playing God with society. Wanting to save someone from possible abuse, while a noble idea, doesn't justify depriving them of their most basic human right. We do whatever we can to prevent child abuse. But when this fails, as a society we recognize the situation as a tragedy. We do not pretend that the child would have been better off if they had just been killed before birth. Doing so would deny their inherent worth as a human. An abusive childhood, while tragic, also doesn't guarantee a miserable life. There are many people who were abused as children but ended up becoming highly successful. Oprah Winfrey comes to mind.

A few questions for “the panel”:
1. Why is it illegal to kill a human being that is outside the womb but it is legal to kill a human being that is in the womb?
2. Why is a human being that is outside the womb a person but a human being inside the womb is a non-person? Since when did location change what I am?
3. Why were Blacks once considered non-persons?
The only answer I come up with is “convenience” and it seems to apply to all three. Am I missing something?
Rights are conferred based on inherent capacities, not current capacities. For instance, a woman is incapable of reproducing at certain points of her menstrual cycle. She does not thereby cease to be living or cease being a human being/person during these times, as she still has the inherent capacity to reproduce. The question of consciousness or awareness is similar: when someone is asleep, they are unconscious. They do not, therefore, cease to be persons, since they still have the inherent capacity for awareness.
A preborn human also has the inherent capacity for reproduction, awareness, etc. (FYI: a female's ovaries are present by 7 weeks from fertilization.) If she is not killed, these attributes will become manifest. It is also worth noting here that these attributes are on a continuum of development that persists even after birth.

I noticed that of those who are listed under "Endorsement" only one was female. Interesting that these reverends, priests and 'scholars' can indeed say a good, half-convincing quote, but can not ever truly understand those who made a choice--and never regretted it--for they have been born males into our society (I assume they are mostly white, males probably of middle-class too...can empathy even be expected of these people???). I guess when empathy or relating to people on their level is impossible, gory and inappropriate pictures attempt to suffice. Shame on you.

God bless you for what you do. I will be praying for all of you and all the babies that have been and are being murdered. I wish we had this in LA!! Is there anything I can do to help?
Dear Anonymous - thank you so much for your kind words and offer to pray for our work. We are always looking for pro-life leaders willing to take the truth of abortion to the streets of their local community. We supply the signs, the cameras and other materials, if you can supply the manpower! If you're interested, email us at info@antichoiceproject.com. Thanks!

It's funny how the pro-choice people assume we're all Bible lovers. I have no religious preference, but I don't believe I need one to see that abortion is indeed murderous. You can shout out your idiotic justifications for it all you'd like, and from your point of view, you're correct. From ours, you're a heartless a**. Those unborn children DO feel, and to deny that is proof you have no sensible logic to back up your reasoning. Who do you really think you are to "choose" to kill our most defenseless citizens in the name of a woman's right to choose? Population control? No. Population control is crossing your legs. Just a thought. Rape? Incest? Yes, I understand that would be hard to live with, but there are people who would adopt any child, regardless of background history. Showing these posters is what needs to be done.
